These terms govern your use of Groundlark. Please read them — particularly section 4 on predictions, which explains what Groundlark does and does not tell you, and section 11 on liability.
Groundlark is a product of Nomadopoly Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17344194, with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Nomadopoly Ltd, and "you" means the business using the service.
You can reach us at support@groundlark.co.uk.
Groundlark monitors the UK's official public procurement services and tells you about opportunities matching the trade, location and contract size you set. It also estimates when existing contracts may come up for renewal.
Groundlark is an information service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government body, buying authority or procurement service. We do not bid on your behalf, prepare tender documents, or influence any procurement decision.
We monitor the official services listed on our homepage. That coverage is not complete and we do not claim it is:
The coverage statement on our homepage is generated from the sources actually running at the time you read it. It is the accurate account of what we monitor.
Some of what Groundlark shows you is predicted rather than published. Where we estimate that a contract may be re-tendered, that is an inference from the contract's stated end date and value — not an announcement by the buying authority. Predictions are labelled wherever they appear.
A predicted re-tender may not happen, or may not happen when we suggest, because:
Do not make commercial commitments on the strength of a prediction alone. Every opportunity we show links to its original official notice. Check it.
A subscription covers up to 3 named people at one business. Sign-in is by a link sent to your email address — keep access to that mailbox secure, as anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Accounts are for your business's own use. You may not resell access, share credentials outside your business, or systematically extract our data to build a competing service.
We do not ask for card details to create an account. Create an account, tell us your trade, your area and your smallest worthwhile job, and you will see a sample of the opportunities matching your business straight away.
To see all of your matches and to receive alerts, you subscribe. Your subscription begins when your first monthly payment is taken at checkout, and you are billed monthly in advance from that date.
The standard price is £99 per month.
Founding subscribers — the first 50 businesses to subscribe — pay £49 per month for the first 12 months. After that the subscription continues at the standard price. We will email you at least 30 days before the founding rate ends, and you may cancel before it does.
Prices include UK VAT where it applies.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. We are the seller of record for your subscription.
Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price increase, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. No phone call, no retention process. When you cancel, your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further payment is taken.
We do not give refunds or pro-rata credits for the remainder of a period you have already paid for, except where the law requires it or where the service has been materially faulty.
If you are a sole trader or an individual contracting largely outside your trade, you may have a statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. By asking us to begin the service immediately you accept that this right ends once we have fully performed, and that we may charge for what you have used. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have by law.
If a payment fails we will retry and email you. Access continues during a short grace period. If payment is still not made, the subscription is suspended — your data is kept, and access resumes when payment succeeds.
We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, attempts to disrupt the service, or is used unlawfully. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
Your profile, your pipeline notes and your account information belong to you. You can export or delete them at any time. See our Privacy Notice for how we handle personal data.
Procurement notices originate from public sources. Much of it is licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0 and remains the property of its publishers. Our software, matching and scoring methods, brand and site are ours.
We work to keep Groundlark running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service depends on third-party government services we do not control, and we cannot be responsible for their outages, errors or changes.
Groundlark provides information to help you find work. We are not responsible for commercial decisions you make using it, including bids you submit or decline, opportunities you miss, or contracts you do not win.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost opportunities or indirect losses, and our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you may cancel before then if you do not accept it.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
